Heat Wave Update

Dear Parents,

Assalaamu Alaikum, hope this email reaches you in good health.

 As you might be aware that the average temperature of GTA would be 35⁰C to 40⁰C and our classes gets heated up quickly. Hence, we have decided to take the following measures to protect our students from the excessive heat:

1.     We have arranged water cooler for our students. Kindly encourage your children to drink water at regular intervals.

2.     The cafeteria is much cooler than the other parts of the school. Hence, we have decided to keep the students in the cafeteria from 11:45 am till the dismissal time.

3.     The cafeteria has ceiling fans. Furthermore, we would place extra floor fans in the cafeteria to create comfortable ambience.

4.     Kindly encourage your children to wear hat and stay hydrated during their outdoor recess and lunch time. It is advisable to give them the sun screen lotion to avoid heat stroke or sun burn.

5.     Kindly give them fruits like water melon and coconut water to beat the heat.

6.     We will provide juice and water to our students.

7.     The students are exempted from wearing the uniform to the school for the next three days.

Kindly encourage your children to wear any modest and comfortable clothing to the school from Sept 25 to Sept 27.

8.     We are going to get portable air conditioners in May, 2018 in order to avoid these issues during the month of June.
